Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has now provided a new update on his injury in a new video, MySportDab reports.

Pogba has told Manchester United fans that he will soon undergo a scan in the coming days.

The scan will now reveal how long his thigh injury will keep him out of football action.

The 28-year-old picked up the injury in France training after kicking a ball in a shooting drill.

He injured his right thigh during the training drill.

There are now reports that Pogba could be out for the rest of the year and can only return to play for Manchester United in 2022.

However, the Frenchman is more positive in a new video he shared with fans on Instagram talking about his injury.

Speaking in the video, Pogba said: ‘As you can see, I go injured. I hope it’s not too serious, I will have a scan in the next days to see just how bad.

‘Yeah this is the situation but we will come back strong, so we don’t lose faith, and the positive vibe, but keep smiling.

‘It all happens for a reason, we are blessed still and we are coming back better. That’s how it is, thanks for the support, we will be back soon.’

Pogba being unavailable has just added more pressure on Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after last week’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City.

Pogba was set to miss United’s next match after the international break due to his three-match ban but now could be unavailable until 2022.

But, Pogba not being available throughout a tough December period is a massive blow for Manchester United.

Pogba has now withdrawn from the France squad for their final 2022 World Cup Qualifier matches matches against Kazakhstan and Finland.
