Chelsea has been slammed with a price tag on their target by Monaco as they look to make a move in January, MySportDab reports.

The Blues are keen on making a move happen for the midfielder who could complete a switch by the January window.

Chelsea is not the only side ready to make a move for the player who is being monitored by Juventus.

Aurélien Tchouaméni

The 21-year-old has been in good form helping Monaco from last season till date and his performance has attracted so many suitors who want him.

Chelsea currently leads the race to sign Aurélien Tchouaméni who is being tipped to be one of the best midfielders in the future.

His club is not looking to let him leave for anything cheap as they already placed a fair enough price tag on the player.

Monaco has set a €40 million (£34m/$47m) asking price for Chelsea linked midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni, according to a report reaching us from Calcio Mercato.

Juventus are also keen on the 21-year-old, who is under contract at Stade Louis II until 2024 but could be available to leave at a reasonable price to what they are asking for.

Tchouameni has scored once in nine Ligue 1 games for Monaco so far this term and received a call-up to the latest France squad.

The player is one to look out for the future which is now seeing clubs looking to make a bid that could see them lure him away.

Chelsea might be fully loaded in their midfield, but it is only a matter of few years before the likes of Jorginho, Kante, and Mateo Kovacic hits over 30 years.

The Blues are already planning which they will be looking to complete the signing of Aurélien Tchouaméni as a future replacement.

As of now no official bid or talks are going on for a move, but we have to wait until the window opens before anything can happen.
