A brace from Lionel Messi and one from Kylian Mbappe helped PSG beat RB Leipzig 3-2 in the UEFA Champions League group stages, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

An end-to-end first-half encounter between Paris Saint Germain and RB Leipzig saw so much good football coming from both ends.

Kylian Mbappe goal in the 9th minutes gave PSG an early lead as the game progressed with the World Cup finishing off to make things 1-0 for his team.

The German side had so much work to do as they pushed forward looking to make a comeback which proved difficult to happen immediately as the game carried on with opportunities.

Andre Silva leveled things for the visitors in the 28th minute of the match which came after a nice teamwork effort before the forward ensured his finishing made things 1-1 as it carried on.

Nothing else was able to happen as the game progressed with wasted opportunities coming from both ends while it entered into the last few minutes of play with scoreline 1-1.

The first half came to an end with PSG held to a 1-1 against RB Leipzig who showed impressive work against a very strong Paris Saint Germain side with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Second Half Report

The second half started well with promises of early goal as the opportunities kept on coming with both teams pushing to take the much needed lead going forward.

RB Leipzig scored in the 57th minute as they shocked their opponent in the game which saw Nordi Mukiele giving his side the lead from an outstanding finish which saw the scoreline turned 1-2.

PSG looked unrest as their manager was panicking from the touchline after seeing his side go down despite them in front earlier in the game as they carried on looking to level up.

Lionel Messi leveled things 2-2 in the 67th minute from a brilliant finish coming from the former Barcelona man to bring back his side into the game.

Lionel Messi made it his brace in the 74th minute of the second half as he scored from the penalty spot after a foul committed by the away side which the Argentine gave his side the lead 3-2.

Kylian Mbappe could have increased the lead for his side, but instead, he threw away a penalty given to him in the 90th minute plus added time.

More opportunities but nothing else happened as the match finished with PSG 3-2 RB Leipzig which saw Paris Saint Germain claim all three points at the end of 90 minutes.
