Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has now provided a new update about his injury today, MySportDab reports.

Rashford has confirmed that he could start full-contact training this week.

The Englishman did surgery on a long-standing shoulder injury back in August.

Today, Rashford provided an update to fans on Twitter.

He wrote: ‘Happy Monday. I plan to visit the doctor on Friday to get some consultation. If it goes well, I will get the green light to start with contact training again.’

Manchester United confirmed that Rashford would undergo surgery following a short holiday and after Euro 2020 in July.

The Red Devils agreed with the player that it was the right time to address the issue with his shoulder.

Rashford has been struggling with the injury since he tore the muscle back in November.

The surgery is why Rashford has missed United’s first six matches of the 2021-2022 Premier League season.

However, Rashford later revealed that the surgery went well and that he was happy with his decision.

He shared a photo of himself looking healthy at home after the surgery and wrote:

‘Thank you for the wishes. I had surgery on Friday and everything is fine.

‘A few a little sore but I’m feeling good!’

Recently, Rashford was spotted at Manchester United’s training ground back for the first time as he continues his recovery.

Now, Rashford will be get to return back to full contract training by Friday.

The 23-year-old has not yet to played with Cristiano Ronaldo after he returned to Old Trafford this summer.
