Manchester United are now ready to battle Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, MySportDab reports.

The RB Leipzig attacking midfielder was heavily linked with a return to Barca this summer.

Reports suggest that Barcelona submitted a £50m bid for the player but RB Leipzig rejected the offer.

Now, According to Spanish Newspaper MARCA, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have now joined the race for the Spain international.

RB Leipzig are willing to let one of their best players leave if the right offer is submitted by January or next summer.

Olmo was at Barca’s La Masia academy from 2007 to 2014, and would consider the idea of returning to the club before Leipzig stopped the deal.

Olmo’s ability to play in different positions makes him a very nice option to have for any club.

He can also play out wide, as a false nine or as an attack-minded player in midfield.

Manchester United have many different options in the attacking midfield role but only Bruno Fernandes has made that slot his over for some time now.

While Olmo has strong links to Barca, the 23-year-old played for current Bayern Munich Coach Julian Nagelsmann over the last two seasons.

Nagelsmann returned to his former club on Saturday, and sealed a 4-1 win for Bayern Munich.

Barca’s financial problems may make a move for Olmo difficult, if Leipzig increase their asking price.

Meanwhile, Juve are keen to sign another attacking player since Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United.

Last season, Olmo finished with five Bundesliga goals and 10 assists.

He also provided three assists for Spain in the Euro 2020 knockout stages.
