Jack Wilshere is set to make a return back to Arsenal where he started out playing, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder could be set to begin training with Arsenal for the first time since 2018 when he left the club.

Talks is hopeful of happening as soon as possible for Jack Wilshere to make his return back to Arsenal as he is currently a free agent.

The former Gunners player made his mark during the 2010-11 season where he was a regular with the team before things started falling apart.

Wilshere who was full of potentials started getting injured and his career went from being one of the best to nothing which saw him leaving Arsenal.

His time at West Ham United was another blow up which saw him get released before he could see off his contract due to injury.

He also recently just got released by Championship side AFC Bournemouth who didn’t extend his contract after a short spell with them.

Here Is What Mikel Arteta Said About The Move;

“Jack’s a great guy and someone I used to share a dressing room with. He’s loved here,” said the Arsenal boss.

“The door is always open”.

The Gunners manager earlier suggested to help the player get back to his best self after news of him talking about being depressed over his career not going well.

Jack Wilshere is desperate to get back on the pitch and pick off from where he left after leaving Bournemouth.

When asked whether or not he would take Arteta’s offer up, Wilshere said: “It can only help me.”

“To hear the manager who I played with, who I had a good relationship with, I really enjoyed playing with him, sharing the dressing room with him, to hear him come out and say the door is always open is nice.”

For now no official statement about the move done as we wait to see what happens in the coming days.
