Portugal Vs France Euro 2020 Match Preview, Kick-off, Team News (FULL DETAILS)

Portugal and France face off in a crucial Group F match on Wednesday night (today), and the result will decide the faith of both countries, MySportDab reports. 

France and Portugal are both not yet guaranteed a spot in the last-16 of Euro 2020.

France defeat Germany in their opening match of the tournament, but a 1-1 draw with Hungary leaves them with more work to do against Portugal tonight.

For Portugal, they thrashed Hungary 3-0 to start the Euro 2020 tournament but suffered a shocking 4-2 loss against Germany a few days later.

Germany will now play against Hungary in their final match and are more confident of a top-two finish.

However, the country that finishes as runners-up in Group F, Group Of Death will face England in the round-of-16.

Portugal Vs France Team News 

In the match against Germany, Portugal were weak in defence and changes must be made against France.

Young midfielder Renato Sanches is expected to start in midfield after impressing twice when coming on from the bench.

Joao Felix and did not play in the match against Germany but have trained with the squad recently.

For France, they have only scored once in Euro 2020 despite having the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema upfront.

France Coach Didier Deschamps does other options up front such Olivier Giroud, Kingsley Coman and Wissam Ben Yedder.

Meanwhile, Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has been ruled out of the tournament with a knee injury.

Portugal XI: Rui Patrício, Guerreiro, Semedo, Dias, Pepe, Danilo, Sanches, Fernandes, Jota, Bernardo Silva, Ronaldo.

France XI: Lloris, Hernandez, Pavard, Varane, Kimpembe, Pogba, Kante, Griezmann, Rabiot, Benzema, Mbappe.

Portugal Vs France Kick-off?

Portugal Vs France will start tonight (June 23rd) at 8pm Nigerian time.

The crucial match will be played at the Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Budapest, Hungary.
