Argentina claimed their first win in the Copa America 2021 after beating Uruguay 1-0 with Lionel Messi on the assist, MySportDab reports.

The first half was brilliant with one goal being scored by the home team who ensured the 45 minutes went their way.
Argentina scored an early lead in the 13th minute as Lionel Messi set up Guido Rodriguez to make it 1-0 with a brilliant finish.
Uruguay had some good moments that could have given them the leveler, but it all was wasted and nothing good coming out of it.
Both teams continued to create opportunities as the first half carried on with the away side maintaining their early goal scored.

Second Half Report
It was an evenly balanced second half encounter between the two sides who weren’t that good in front of the goal as the chances kept on coming.
Uruguay were the better side when it came to ball possession but they couldn’t use that to their advantage which could have given them a goal they needed.
Argentina were okay to maintain their lead as the game carried on with them doing everything possible not to concede any goal like their first game.
Nothing coming from the two Nations as the second half entered into the last 10 minutes of play with them still unable to change the scoreline.
The match finally came to an end with Argentina 1-0 Uruguay as the home side claimed a win and three points.
