Borussia Dortmund have reduced their asking price for winger Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.
Dortmund are now ready to accept any offer around the £80million price range this summer.
Some Premier League clubs remain interested in the English winger and this is now good news for his potential suitors.
Last week, Borussia Dortmund confirmed that they have a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Sancho for him to leave at the end of the season.
Now, According to SPORT, Sancho will be available for around £74-80m for any potential suitor.
Since Dortmund’s sporting director, revealed that ‘certain conditions’ would see Sancho leave, it is now less likely for Erling Haaland to also exit the club.
Borussia Dortmund also revealed that the ‘timing and sum’ of any transfer bid for Jadon Sancho is critical.
Dortmund want any offer for Sancho to come in at a good time, so they can sign a replacement.
Manchester United’s attempts to bring Sancho to Old Trafford last summer failed due to a deadline set by Dortmund to end negotiations.
MySportDab understands that Dortmund will use the same tactic as the first team are expected to leave for their training camp by the end of July.
The new price tag is a drastic reduction from the price Dortmund demanded for at the start of the season.
At the start of the season, United refused to pay the £110m fee to sign Sancho despite much anticipation by fans.
But now, the Dortmund hierarchy have agreed to accept an offer around £80m.
Liverpool are another club previously linked with Sancho, although it remains unlikely for the Reds to spend big this summer.
Sancho endured a slow start to the 2020-21 season, but now has 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 league matches.
