The battle of Goalkeepers between David De Gea and Dean Henderson is now at a key stage ahead of the Europa League final next week, MySportDab reports.

Fans are not sure if Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would start De Gea Or Henderson for the final match, which could give United a trophy.

According to the Manchester Evening News, David De Gea will start For Manchester United in the Europa League final against Villarreal.

De Gea has now been chosen to start the final after he played in United’s last four Europa League match against Roma and Granada.

Henderson was previously in goal for United’s first four Europa League games against Real Sociedad and AC Milan.

But, Henderson is now the Premier League number one, which has left De Gea with the Cup duties.

De Gea played very well in United’s 3-2 semi-final second leg loss to Roma, and made 10 saves to prevent a shocking comeback in the 8-5 win.

Meanwhile, Henderson could not do anything much as Manchester United lost 4-2 to Liverpool last week.

Henderson is expected to start for the final Premier League game of the season against Wolves on Sunday.

Solskjaer’s decision to retain De Gea in Europe marks a departure from last season, like when cup ‘keeper Sergio Romero was dropped for the semi-final defeat to Sevilla.

Romero was unhappy with the decision and immediately asked to leave Manchester United.

The change in goal in recent weeks means United’s season will now end without an undisputed number one goalkeeper.

Reports suggest that Dean Henderson could ask to leave the club if he is not assured about the position of United’s first choice goalkeeper.

United showed their belief in Henderson by making him sign a new  five-year contract worth £120,000-a-week.

Henderson and De Gea have both encountered issues with Solskjaer’s management of the goalkeeping situation at Manchester United so far this season.
