Aston Villa are strongly linked with a move for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard as they want him to become their new handler, MySportDab reports.

The former Liverpool midfielder have made a name for himself in the Scottish League after winning the most prestigious title.

There are strong links of Steven Gerrard making a return to England and Aston Villa looks like the club where he is heading to.

His recent feat came after ending Celtic reign by taking his side Rangers to claiming the League title this season.

This has suggest some strong links which reports is also linking him to take over from Jurgen Klopp as next Liverpool manager.

A Liverpool legend has led the Gers to Scottish Premiership title glory this season, with a return to England now being mooted.
