Brace from Diogo Jota and one from Mohamed Salah ensured Liverpool beat Arsenal at the Emirates 3-0 in climb into 5th position, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a very hard first half encounter between the two sides who couldn’t find the back of the net despite the number of opportunities.
Arsenal were solid defending while pushing forward with few amount of chances that didn’t threaten their opponent that much.
Liverpool dominated the first 45 minutes with more of the ball possession going their way as the game progressed further into the last few minutes.
The first half of the encounter ended with Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool as they both headed for the break with a goalless scoreline.
Second Half Report
All hell was let opened in the second half of the encounter as The Reds were unstoppable and scored for fun.
Diogo Jota gave Liverpool the much needed lead in the game after scoring in the 64th minute with assist from Trent Alexander-Arnold to make it 1-0.
Arsenal looked poor as Mohamed Salah capitalized on their error to increase his side lead to 2-0 which came in the 68th minute of the game.
Diogo Jota bagged his brace in the 82nd minute after teaming up with Sadio Mane to score an outstanding goal which increased the scoreline to 3-0.
The game progressed further into injury time which nothing was seen as it ended with Arsenal 0-3 Liverpool, which sees Klopp’s side claimed a much needed victory.
