Chelsea and Manchester City both qualified for the Champions League semi-finals earlier this week.

Thomas Tuchel’s team can secure their place in another FA Cup final when they face Manchester City today.

Chelsea Team News

Coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that both Mateo Kovacic and Andreas Christensen will miss the match at Wembley.

“We have a good sign for him to play,” Tuchel said about N’Golo Kante.

“We had three days since the last match which is a key difference for him.

“Mateo Kovacic remains unavailable, but feeling better. Andreas Christensen cannot be in the squad.”

Expected Chelsea Line-up

Kepa Arrizabalaga is likely to start in goal today for Chelsea as he maintains his role as the ‘cup keeper.’

Tuchel is unlikely to make any changes in defence with Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Thiago Silva all expected to start.

Reece James should start at right-wing back, but Marcos Alonso could be played instead of Ben Chilwell on the left.

N’Golo Kante appears ready to start today, so he would partner Jorginho in midfield

Mason Mount will start alongside Christian Pulisic or Timo Werner today.

And up front, FA Cup’s top scorer Tammy Abraham is not expected to start but Olivier Giroud could get the chance to impress today.

Expected Chelsea Line-up Vs Man City: Kepa, Alonso, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Silva, Kante, James, Jorginho, Mount, Werner, Giroud.
