Chelsea still have a Champions League 2nd Leg next week to get past and reach the next round.

Tuchel’s side appear as now favourites to finish in the Premier League top four this season.

Chelsea Team News

Goalkeeper: Mendy

Tuchel has revealed that Edouard Mendy is Chelsea’s No 1 over record signing Kepa Arrizablaga until the end of the season.

Defence: Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Christensen

Azpilicueta has been a consistent man as part of Chelsea’s defence under Tuchel.

He has played the full 90 minutes in every Premier League and Champions League match under Tuchel.

Now, Antonio Rudiger will return to the team, alongside Azpilicueta and Christensen in defence for Chelsea against Leeds United.

Midfield: James, Ben Chilwell Jorginho, Kante

Callum Hudson-Odoi is yet to seal his place in the Chelsea team and his rival, Reece James should start today in midfield against Leeds United.

On the other side of the midfield, Ben Chilwell is more likely to start ahead of Marcos Alonso against Leeds United.

Jorginho and Kante have impressed when played together in the middle in previous matches.

Attack: Mount, Werner, Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz played his best game for Chelsea in the last fixture against Everton, as a false nine with Tammy Abraham unavailable.

Christian Pulisic is still yet to get his opportunity  but Tuchel revealed on Friday that the American must improve in matches.

That means Timo Werner, despite missing some good chances against Everton, should remain in the starting line up alongside Mason Mount.
