Ferran Torres and Daniel Olmo both scored as Spain come from behind to claim a 2-0 victory against Georgia in their World Cup Qualifiers match, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an evenly contested first half encounter between the two sides who saw more opportunities created as the home team scored one goal.
Spain saw more of the ball and created more chances which they couldn’t make use of it and the game progressed with them going close.
Georgia were superb in dealing with all the threats thrown at them until Kvaratskhelia scored in the 44th minute to give his side a shocking 1-0 lead.
The first half progressed without any goal as it ended with Georgia 1-0 Spain as they both headed for the break with advantage to the home side.
Second Half Report
The second half was a different ball game as the away side came out explosive with a hunger for goals which they got two of them.
Georgia had a very good first 45 minutes but things went bad for them as Ferran Torres pulled back level 1-1 in the 56th minute of the game from a fine finish.
The game went on with Spain attacking from every angle and back to back waves of pressure which their opponent tried everything possible to maintain their lead.
It wasn’t meant to be a lost for the away side as Daniel Olmo scored a late goal to make it 2-1 in the 92nd minute before the home side was reduced to 10 man.
The match ended with Georgia 1-2 Spain as the away side claimed a very hard fought victory which sees them claiming three points.
