Chelsea advance to the semi final in the Emirates FA Cup after beating Sheffield United 2-0 as Oliver Norwood scored an own goal with Hakim Ziyech late finish, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

It was an evenly matched first-half encounter as the two sides showed enough class which saw the away side hold the home team.

Sheffield United had things under control despite seeing the ball less than their opponent, but the away side went close in getting the opening goal.

Chelsea continued to control ball possession but couldn’t get the shot on target needed until a corner kick saw Ben Chilwell strike hit Oliver Norwood to make it 1-0.

The game progressed into the last few minutes which nothing was able to happen as the first half ended with Chelsea 1-0 Sheffield United as they both headed for the break.

Second Half Report

The second 45 minutes wasn’t too great in the early stages as Thomas Tuchel’s came in the better side in the early stages.

Chelsea pushed more until they cooled down a little bit in between the match as the away side came back into the game.

Sheffield United did more attacking in the last few minutes but didn’t make it count as Thomas Tuchel did some changes which Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech coming on into the game.

Hakim Ziyech was able to make something out of the game with the last kick which saw the match ending with Chelsea 2-0 Sheffield United.
