Manchester United have now been affected by a coronavirus outbreak within the squad, MySportDab reports. 

Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team were preparing to face Newcastle in their Premier League game today.

However, United’s plans for that matches have now been affected with three staff members with positive CoronaVirus results.

United are expected to play against Newcastle 8pm Nigerian time today.

However, Manchester United have now officially confirmed that three first team coaching staffs have now tested positive for coronavirus hours before the match.

The game will still be played and the staffs that tested positive will miss the match and start Isolation.

Manchester United have released an official statement, which read: “Nicky Butt and Mark Dempsey will be on the bench today with Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after some of the coaching staffs had to self isolate.

“The Premier League match against Newcastle United at Old Trafford will still be played at 19:00 GMT today.”

Manchester United have been able to avoid positive outbreaks of COVID-19 within the squad.

Paul Pogba previously tested positive earlier in the season and it took the French midfielder somewhile to return back to his best.
