Wolves came from behind to beat 10 men Arsenal 2-1 in a game which saw David Luiz and Bernd Leno got sent off in the match. MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was entertaining as two goals were scored with both sides on target and a dramatic red card was shown.
Arsenal thought they took an early lead when Bukayo Saka scored but the goal was ruled out by VAR before Nicolas Pepe’s 32nd-minute goal which made it 1-0.
Wolves continued to press and push for a goal which saw David Luiz got sent off late in the first half and Ruben Neves scored from the penalty to level things 1-1.
The first half ended with Wolves 1-1 Arsenal as they both headed for the break in a draw with the away side reduced to 10 men.
Second Half Report
The second half began with same pace as the first 45 minutes as the home side had more space to operate with a one man advantage.
Wolves took the lead in the 47th minute after an amazing break in play saw Moutinho teaming up with Neto Pedro to make it 2-1.
Arsenal couldn’t find a way back into the game as it progressed with them unable to make anything count as the 1 man disadvantage was holding them back.
Leno was sent off in the 72nd minute as the Gunners were reduced to 9 men and the match ended with Wolves 2-1 Arsenal.
