Extra time goal from Erling Haaland ensured Borussia Dortmund progressed to the next round of the DFB Cup with a 3-2 win over Paderborn, MySportDab reports.

First And Second Half Report

The first half was all about the home side who dominated play and scored twice within 45 minutes.

Emre Can gave Borussia Dortmund a 1-0 lead in the 6th minutes after scoring an outstanding goal from nice build up play.

Paderborn were caught napping again as Jadon Sancho made it 2-0 in the 16th minute after teaming up with Erling Haaland for the goal.

The second half wasn’t too good from the home side who conceded two goals within 45 minutes.

Paderborn pulled one back to make it 2-1 in the 79th minutes which came after a great play saw Julian Justvan scored.

Borussia Dortmund thought they sealed the win but Erling Haaland’s late goal was ruled out by VAR before Owusu leveled things 2-2 from the penalty spot.

The extra time provided some good display of football which saw the home side getting the job done.

Erling Haaland gave Borussia Dortmund the lead in the 95th minute after scoring with a stunning goal which made it 3-2.
