Cristiano Ronaldo was on target as Juventus beat 10 men Sassuolo 3-1 with other goals coming from Aaron Ramsey and Danilo, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was evenly matched with both sides going for each other head to head without scoring any goal.
Juventus had some good chances to take an early lead in the game but the finishing wasn’t that good for them as it didn’t go anywhere.
Sassuolo also did create some opportunities themselves as they were the team feeling the pressure the most in the encounter.
The first half ended with Juventus 0-0 Sassuolo as they both headed for the break with a goalless scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half of the encounter was much better as both sides found the back of the net while Juve scored three goals in the process.
Danilo gave Juventus the lead 1-0 in the 50th minutes after an outstanding display from the league champions which saw them break down their opponent to get the opener.
The lead didn’t last long as Sassuolo pulled back level in the 58th minutes through a goal scored by Gregoire Defrel that saw the game tied on a 1-1 scoreline.
Aaron Ramsey gave his side the lead in the 82nd minutes to make it 2-1 while Cristiano Ronaldo scored a late goal which saw the game ended with Sassuolo 1-3 Juventus as Andrea Pirlo’s side recorded a crucial win.
