Phil Foden scored the only goal as Man City recorded a narrow 1-0 victory against Brighton And Hove Albion as Reheem Sterling missed a late penalty, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half wasn’t much of a buzz as only just one goal was score by the Citizens despite their dominance in the half and total control of the game.

Brighton And Hove Albion held their ground at the early stages of the first 45 minutes which saw them did very well keeping their opponent from scoring.

Man City was able to finally break the deadlock in the 44th minutes as Phil Foden scored an outstanding goal which saw his side took the much needed lead 1-0 as the game progressed.

The first half ended with Man City 1-0 Brighton And Hove Albion as they both headed for the break with advantage to the Citizens.

Second Half Report

The second half was evenly matched with both sides giving a good account of themselves except an error from the away side which resulted in a penalty.

 

Brighton And Hove Albion continued with their impressive display hoping the catch the home side on a counter and hopefully score but that failed to materialize as the game progressed.

Man City was awarded with a late penalty which Raheem Sterling stepped up to take and he couldnt convert to extend his side lead further in the encounter.

The match ended with Man City 1-0 Brighton And Hove Albion as Pep Guardiola side escaped with a narrow win which moves them up the table.
