Tammy Abraham scored a hattrick as Chelsea advanced to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup as they beat Luton Town 3-1, MySportDab Reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was almost matched as both sides found the back of the net in the Emirates FA Cup encounter which saw the Blues scoring twice within 45 minutes with two clinical goal from the London club.
Tammy Abraham scored the opener after just 11 minutes gone in the game which saw Chelsea took a 1-0 lead after a great buildup play saw the England international teaming up with Timo Werner before finishing off with a good goal.
He doubled the lead in the 17th minutes after another fantastic goal from him saw the Blues increased the scoreline to 2-0 before Luton Town pulled one back in the 30th minutes through Jordan Clark to make it 2-1.
The first half ended with Chelsea 2-1 Luton Town as Frank Lampard side headed for the break with advantage going their way after a good first 45 minutes which should have provided more goals for the home side.
Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes was a different ball game as the home side couldn’t score more than one goal as the away side gave a good account of themselves with them creating some good chances which failed to result into a goal.
Luton Town were doing very well in the early stages of the second half as they were able to defend well and frustrated the Premier League side who couldn’t increase their lead despite the opportunities going their way.
Chelsea finally got their third goal which came through Tammy Abraham as he registered his hat trick which saw him scored in the 74th minutes of the encounter which it turned 3-1 thanks to wonderful play before the goal came.
Timo Werner was presented an opportunity to make it 4-1 but he managed to lose the penalty give the him as the match ended with Chelsea 3-1 Luton Town as the Blues advance to the next round of the Emirates Fa Cup.
