Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has admitted that this season has been the most difficult of his football career, MySportDab reports.

The French man believes the international break is ‘a breath of fresh air’.

Pogba came into the national team with France having lost his place with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

Both, Scott McTominay and Fred have been preferred as the deeper midfield options behind Bruno Fernandes.

Now, Pogba has now claimed that playing Nations League matches with France is a much-needed break from his time at United.

‘I have never been in such a difficult period in my career. The France break is a breath of fresh air, the group is fantastic, it’s magic,’ Pogba told RTL France.

Before the international break, Pogba was dropped by Solskjaer for United’s two recent matches at Istanbul Basaksehir and Everton at Goodison Park.

However, Pogba has started both of France matches in November, including a shock 2-0 home loss to Finland and France’s superb 1-0 win against Portugal.

Pogba’s disappearance from the Manchester Untied starting Line-up might also be because of endless Real Madrid transfer links.

In October, Pogba revealed that it is his dream to play for the Spanish club one day.
