BREAKING! Liverpool Star Mohamed Salah Tests Positive For CoronaVirus!

The Egyptian Football Association have confirmed that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has tested positive for CoronaVirus, MySportDab reports. 

Salah was part of the Egypt squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matches.

Now, the 28-year-old will start his period of self isolation after testing positive for the virus.

Salah is the only player in the Egypt squad that tested positive for COVID-19.

A statement from the Egyptian FA reads: “Salah has been infected with Coronavirus.

“The medical team conducted a test on all our national football team players and it showed that Mohamed Salah, was infected with the Coronavirus, after his test result was positive.

“He does not have any symptoms, but other members of the squad tested negative.”

Salah is the sixth player of the Liverpool first-team squad to have contracted coronavirus.

Thiago, Keita, Sadio Mane, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Kostas Tsimikas have all previously tested positive for the virus.

The news is a massive blow to Liverpool, with Salah now likely to miss their EPL match against Leicester on November 21.

Salah could also miss the Champions League match against Atalanta four days later.
