Goals from Heung-Min Son and Giovanni Lo Celso ensured Tottenham claimed a 2-0 win over Man City to move top of EPL table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
A closely matched first half from both teams which saw one goal that went in favour of the home team.
Tottenham scored the opener as early as the 5th minutes after Heung-Min Son scored a clinical goal to make it 1-0.
Man City had more chances as they dominated the game half field against their opponent but they couldn’t score.
Laporte thought he pulled back level for his side but his 27th minute’s strike was ruled out after consultation with VAR.
The first half ended Tottenham 1-0 Man City as they both headed for the break with advantage Spurs.
Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes kicked off in same manner as pace just like the first half with the Citizens doing more of the play.
Tottenham were happy to do the dirty work by defending and hoping to hit them on an attack and get another goal.
Man City continued to dominate before Giovanni Lo Celso scored the second goal to increase his side lead to 2-0.
The match progressed without another goal in it as it ended with Tottenham 2-0 Man City as Spurs go top.
