“Gareth Bale Is Not At The Good London Team” – Thibaut Courtois
Former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has jokingly laughed off Gareth Bale move to Tottenham as he wishes him well, MySportDab reports.
The Belgium goalkeeper and teammate of Bale at Real Madrid wished him well and said he isn’t at the good London team.
After spending seven years at Santiago Bernabeu the Wales winger have now made to return back to where he started.
Gareth Bale has struggled to get much playing time with Real Madrid and the move to Tottenham might be his only hope.
Thibaut Courtois believes his teammate will rediscover his form after sealing to loan move back to England.
The goalkeeper joked to El Larguero: “What Bale talked about with the coach is personal.
“I don’t know what he thought, but then they are decisions that each one makes.
“I had a good relationship with Gareth and I wish him the best of luck this year, even if he’s not playing for the good London team.
“He is a great player.”
Bale will spend the rest of the season with Tottenham after completing a season long loan.
He is yet to make an appearance since making the move as he is currently struggling with fitness issues.
He might get his first game time as Spurs will resume hostilities this weekend in the English Premier League.
