Borussia Dortmund have finally released a statement in response to links that winger Jadon Sancho would join Manchester United, MySportDab reports.

Dortmund have now insisted that Jadon Sancho will stay at the club for the new Bundesliga season.

Sancho was United’s top transfer target for this summer and were in talks with Dortmund over a transfer agreement for the 20-year-old.

But the Bundesliga club set a deadline date of Monday for a deal to be completed for him.

However, since the two clubs could not reach an  agreement, Sancho travelled with his Dortmund team-mates for their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.

Speaking to the media today, Borussia Dortmund chief Zorc was very confident that Sancho will not be leave.

“We have planned with Sancho. He will play for us in the next season,” Zorc said.

“The decision is final. I hope that answers all your endless questions.”

Zorc also revealed a secret that Borussia Dortmund renewed Jadon Sancho’s deal until 2023 a year ago.

“Last summer we made some changes to Jadon’s salary to match his performances. So, we already extended his contract until 2023 a long time ago.”

MySportDab understands that Manchester United and Dortmund were far apart in terms of Jadon Sancho’s valuation.

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke refused to reduce the £108m price tag.
