Manchester United are ready to make their move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez this summer, MySportDab reports.
Saul Niguez is widely-regarded as one of the best midfielders across Europe and is key part of the Atletico team.
The 26-year-old been previously linked with a transfer to the Premier League over the years.
MySportDab understands Atletico value Saul Niguez at around £70m.
Now, According to the Daily Star, Manchester United will now express their interest in the midfielder, after Atletico Madrid shock Champions League exit.
The Daily Star claim that Saul wants to link-up with the likes of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United.
In January, Pogba looked set to leave Old Trafford this summer, but Bruno Fernandes’ arrival from Portugal gave the Red Devils a boost.
United then qualified for next season’s Champions League.
Saul came into the first team at Atletico Madrid in 2012 but only played two matches before being loaned out to Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
After his loan, the Spaniard proved his worth and became a regular part of Simeone’s starting eleven ever.
He has played 296 matches across all competitions for Los Colchoneros.
During his career at Atletico Madrid, Saul won the 2013-14 Spanish La Liga title, two Europa League trophies, Spanish and Super Cups.
