There were some suggestions that he would love a move to Spanish clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona.
However, Current Barcelona Coach Ronald Koeman does not appear interested in Van De Beek.
Koeman wants to sign Gini Wijnaldum instead from Liverpool, with the midfielder’s contract running out in 2021.
Van De Beek’s agents have been in talks with United representatives for weeks now but talks have now progressed.
Manchester United will now offer €40m for the 23-year-old which is likely to be accepted.
Manchester United appear to have forgotten about Jadon Sancho, who might stay at Borussia Dortmund for another season.
Jack Grealish has been previously mentioned as a target for Manchester United.
Aston Villa want £80m for Grealish and so far there have been no offers for the 24-year-old.
