Paris Saint-Germain winger Kylian Mbappe was reduced to tears after suffering a bad ankle injury in the French Cup Final last night, MySportDab reports.

PSG and Saint-Etiene players clashed after the horror tackle in ugly scenes during the first half as a mass brawl started.

Perrin was shown a red card for his tackle on Mbappe, who was left screaming in agony on the floor.

Kylian Mbappe was in tears as he was forced to leave the pitch limping in the first half and replaced by Mauro Icardi.

The Frenchman was later seen on crutches and PSG will hope he has not suffered a serious injury with Champions League football very close.

Speaking about his injury, Mbappe told Macron ‘It went bad,’ during the trophy ceremony.

Macron then asked if anything was broken and Mbappe said ‘No, I doubt that.’

Saint-Etienne skipper Perrin was only shown a yellow card at first for the foul on Mbappe, but players were quick to express their disappointment at the decision.

Saint-Etienne goalkeeper Jessy Moulin started the fight, running over 25 yards to push PSG defender Marquinhos before more players joined in.

The referee gave out six yellow cards after the players were separated before showing Perrin a red card after consulting VAR.

Saint-Etienne striker Romain Hamouma was also booked for his involvement in the fight, same with PSG duo Mitchel Bakker and Leandro Paredes.

Despite Mbappe’s bad injury, PSG were able to secure the win and the Cup Trophy.

The win sees Thomas Tuchel’s team win their third trophy of the season after securing the French Super Cup and being crowned French Ligue 1 champions.

Tuchel’s team play against Lyon next in the Coupe de la Ligue final before Champions League football.

Paris Saint-Germain face Atalanta in their Champions League quarter-final on August 12 and Tuchel hopes that Mbappe can play both games.
