Chelsea endured a 3-0 loss against Sheffield United in the Premier League at Bramall Lane on Saturday, MySportDab reports.

Coach Frank Lampard has now blasted his players for a poor performance in Sheffield United game and warned: “I have learned a lot and won’t forget”.

Chelsea’ top-four hopes are now at risk after the blow at Bramall Lane as David McGoldrick’s scored twice and Oli McBurnie’s first-half header was enough.

It was a poor performance from the Blues that left Lampard angry and gave fresh hope to Leicester City and Manchester United.

Lampard said: “They played better than us, all round. So you lose the match. They were much stronger.

“You hear every noise and all the noise i could hear was from Sheffield United players.

“Sheffield are a good team. If you come here and perform below poor you will lose.

“We were slow and failed to get our wingers into the game. We tried to control, which we did but failed to threaten.

“When 2-0 down you make it difficult. Very Disappointing. Mistakes.

“You analyse the match and review and move forward. We need to forget that quickly and continue our fight for the top four. I have learned a lot today and I won’t forget.

“I am less concerned about top four today. All I do is watch the games and consider what we do next. But today I am not impressed with how we performed. We will see what happens when we play against Norwich.

“But we can’t play Norwich, Wolves or Manchester United like we did today.”

The three points for Sheffield United boosts their hopes of Europa League football next season.
