Real Madrid have submitted a shocking bid for Bayern Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz amid links of a Premier League transfer, MySportDab reports.

Kai Havertz is one of Europe’s most wanted young players and the 20-year-old has impressed so far at Bayern Leverkusen.

The attacking midfielder has scored 15 goals and has provided eight assists in 38 games across all competitions so far this season.

Kai Havertz can also play as a central-midfielder, even on the right-wing and can be used as false 9 in attack.

His performances in the Bundesliga has attracted interests from the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool.

However, Real are looking to secure a fast deal for the German international as soon as possible.

According to German Newspaper Bild, Real have submitted a bid of £71m to Bayern Leverkusen.

MySportDab understands that Los Blancos are willing to loan Havertz back to Leverkusen and let him stay at the club for the next season before moving in 2021.

Real’s offer is very attractive and Bayern Leverkusen could consider the offer although the Bundesliga club want at least £100m.

Havertz’s current contract at Leverkusen expires in 2022.

Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Havertz for a long time and had a bid rejected by the German club last summer.

However, it is unknown Liverpool will try again to sign him this summer after losing out Timo Werner to Chelsea because of his £54m release clause.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also interested in signing Havertz but the Red Devils would want him to join the club immediately and not loan him back.
