Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to start Paul Pogba as a substitute for Friday’s match against Tottenham, MySportDab reports.

This means that Pogba’s expected partnership with Bruno Fernandes might happen in the second half or the next match.

Pogba has not played for a long time and has played just two times since September due ankle injuries.

However, the French World Cup winner is now fit after the coronavirus break put football on hold for over two months.

No Pogba Return?

But, According to The Athletic, Pogba won’t start alongside Bruno Fernandes for the match against Tottenham this Friday unlike what many United fans expected.

MySportDab understands that Pogba has trained well since players were allowed to resume training in England.

Nonetheless, United are working on a starting XI without the 27-year-old.

Instead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could use the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay alongside Fernandes in the NO.10 role.

Fernandes has already shown his quality to the Old Trafford fans after signing from Portugal in January.

The 25-year-old has scored three goals and provided a total of three assists in nine matches.

Manchester United return to Premier League action with a tough match against rivals Tottenham and former coach Jose Mourinho on Friday.

Solskjaer’s team are currently fifth on the Premier League table, three points behind Chelsea.
