Paris Saint-Germain Star Kylian Mbappe is ‘very flattered’ by the transfer links to Liverpool, MySportDab reports.

The Reds have been linked with the Frenchman and Coach Jurgen Klopp is not hiding his love for the 21-year-old.

According to French outlet Le10Sport last month, Jurgen Klopp had called to Mbappe’s father, Wilfried, about a potential big transfer next summer.

And MySportDab understands Mbappe appreciates the fact Klopp called his dad to discuss.

Liverpool are in search a big name replacement should winger Sadio Mane decide to quit the club.

But, any transfer for Mbappe would have to bream the world record transfer fee paid due to PSG demands.

The current world transfer record still stands at the £198million Paris Saint Germain paid to sign Neymar in 2017.

A fee around £250m have been said for Mbappe, but the transfer market will likely be affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

MySportDab can confirm that Liverpool made contact with Mbappe’s representatives in 2017, when the Monaco star was set for his first big transfer.

However, Jurgen Klopp has admitted the chances of securing a deal for a player such as Mbappe remains very difficult.

‘Buying a player of his quality is difficult. I don’t think there’s  any club right now who can buy Kylian Mbappe from PSG,’ said Klopp in November 2019.

‘I can’t think of any club, that’s what it is. We are among the clubs that can’t do it.

‘From a sporting area, there are not many reasons to not sign him, what a quality player he is! It is the money, of course. Absolutely No chance to sign him.’
