Manchester City’s expected third kit for the 2020-2021 season has been leaked on Twitter but fans are very angry with Puma’s design, MySportDab reports.

The new design features an unusual pattern with a ‘ White’ & ‘Peacoat’ colour look which is meant to represent Manchester’s indie music scene.

But the kit, which was leaked by FootyHeadlines, is not good enough according to Manchester City fans online.

Footy Headlines revealed the Puma description of the kit: ‘Manchester’s music world has always been an influence on many bands worldwide.

‘Top of the world bands was run by the BBC, from 1964–2006, originally recorded in Manchester.’

The Manchester City 20-21 third kit is inspired from the Paisley floralpattern which was associated to the BritPop music scene from the 1960s.

But fans are not happy and have taken to Twitter to express their anger.

One fan wrote: ‘Why does @pumafootball think it’s a good idea to have kits that look like broken glass, Getting less people to buy these would be a terrible business model.’

Another added: ‘The puma designers are getting worse everyday.’

Puma and Manchester City signed a 10-year deal to replace Nike as their kit manufactures in 2019 and the contract is said to be worth £650million.
