Manchester United are very close to signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez for £70million this summer, MySportDab reports.
Saul Niguez has been linked with Manchester United for some weeks now.
And it appears the Red Devils could now get their man and end all speculations.
Manchester United refused to sign Saul as a teenager some years back but he’s now developed very well at Atletico Madrid.
The Spain international is a vital member of the Atletico squad under Coach Diego Simeone and he also helped them knock Liverpool out of the Champions League.
Saul Niguez buyout clause is £142m but Spanish Newspaper Todo Fichajes claim United are close to signing him for just £70m.
Todo Fichajes claims that talks between Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are already done.
The agreement will be made official by the end of the current season, which is yet to be completed.
Atletico are ready to accept a lower fee for Saul because of the coronavirus crisis effect on the player’s value.
Now, Saul Niguez moving to Old Trafford could restart rumours of Paul Pogba leaving for Juventus or Real Madrid at the end of the season.
MySportDab understands United are prepared to splash the cash for Saul and looks likely for Pogba to leave this summer.
