Cristiano Ronaldo was set to return back to Juventus training from Madeira but his trip has been delayed until Monday afternoon due to Spain restrictions, MySportDab reports.

Just a few days ago, Juventus requested all players to head back to Turin, after the Italian government allowed clubs to start training.

However, MySportDab understands that Ronaldo is stuck at home in Madeira as his £30million private jet is unable to leave Madrid.

His plane has tried to leave three times but due to Spanish restrictions against travel, it can’t leave the City and return Ronaldo to Italy.

Ronaldo owns the £30million G650 Gulfstream jet which is popularly known as the best quality private plane money can buy.

It has 18 passenger seats and can reach top speed of 610mph.

The travel issue should be resolved today with Ronaldo expected to land in Italy in the evening.

On Sunday, Ronaldo bought his mom a new Mercedes car to celebrate the Portuguese Mother’s day.
