Liverpool have opened talks to sign Lille Striker Victor Osimhen amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, MySportDab reports.
The Reds have now joined the race for Osimhen, who has impressed in his first season at Lille.
The 21-year-old so far has scored 18 goals in 38 matches across all competitions, since leaving Belgian club RSC Charleroi in the summer.
His hunger for goals has attracted the likes of AC Milan, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
According to French Newspaper Le10Sport, Liverpool have opened talks with Victor Osimhen’s representatives.
MySportDab understands talks have started for an opening contract offer that could see the Nigeria star move to Anfield this summer.
However, Lille will most likely demand a large sum for the young striker and £60m could be enough for any club to Victor Osimhen.
Chelsea have also informed Lille about their interest in the player if the French club decides to sell in the summer transfer window.
Coach Frank Lampard wants to sign another striker to provide competition for first choice Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud.
Manchester United are also in search for another striker after failing to sign Erling Haaland in the January transfer window.
