Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed he was an Arsenal Fan and his idol was Thierry Henry before switching, MySportDab reports.

The midfielder became a fan of the Gunners because of their strong squad of French players, including striker Thierry Henry.

But Pogba later switched from being an Arsenal fan to Manchester United because his older brother loved the Red Devils.

‘I am honest. So from the start, I was an Arsenal fan, clearly because of all the French players,’ Pogba told United’s official podcast.

‘Me and my brother were Arsenal fans but my other brother supported Manchester United.

‘I couldn’t say much so I used to love Henry alot and it’s because of him I loved Arsenal. Then I switched and went on to support with my other brother the United fan.’

Paul Pogba is still being linked with Juventus and Real Madrid as he enters the final year of his contract.

MySportDab understands United’s most expensive signing has not played for the club since December 2019 after his surgery to address an ankle problem that has ruined his entire season.

Pogba is now almost ready to return back to action when the Premier League season resumes after the suspension due to the coronavirus.
