Willian has pleaded with Chelsea to allow him to return to Brazil Amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, MySportDab reports.

The 31-year-old is pleading with Chelsea to be allowed to return back home in Brazil to be with his family during the coronavirus crisis

Willian is very worried and has declared that London as a virtual war zone, saying: “It’s like a war. There’s no food.”

The winger whose wife and two daughters have already arrived in Brazil, has requested permission from Chelsea to fly back and join them in his country.

Chelsea though have a big problem because if they let Willian go, the UK might take further actions and ban more flights which means Willian won’t be available in time before April 30th when the Premier League restarts.

“I’m all alone, At the moment,” Willian said.

“My family are in Brazil.

“We planned a schedule. They went back first, I was going to take a break and later join them.

“Now, I’m checking if I have permission from the club.

“They were supposed to return sooner but after the recent meeting the league was further suspended until April 30th.

“I’m talking with the club to allow me leave. I explained everything, I’m trying to get their permission. I heard that other clubs players are going to Brazil too, to be with their family at this moment.”

Flights are still moving from London to Brazil, but the UK authorities are advising only essential travel between here and Willian’s country.

MySportDab understands the player would also need to persuade the Brazil authorities back home that he deserves to be allowed into the country.

So far, Brazil has reported 654 cases of the coronavirus and confirmed seven deaths.
