Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is currently training to get back ready and return to the squad as Michael Carrick oversees his fitness performances, MySportDab reports.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined since January following a surgery on his right ankle, but he had looked set for an imminent return to the team.
The France midfielder was also set to return sooner before the ongoing coronavirus pandemic forced football into suspension.
Pogba has been strongly linked with leaving Manchester United for most parts of this season.
But Paul is desperate to get back on the pitch and play a part for United before the end of the season.
According to The Athletic, first-team coach Carrick and United’s former midfielder has been leading the individual sessions to get Pogba back fit and at his best.
Pogba is now fully set to return to first team training with the rest of the squad tomorrow (Tuesday).
Paul Pogba has only managed to play very few matches for United this season due to injuries.
Pogba’s current deal is due to expire at the end of next season (2021).
However, United have the option to extend this contract by another year until the end of the 2022 campaign.
