Manchester United have emerged as favorites to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish during the summer transfer window, MySportDab reports.

Grealish has impressed this season with seven goals and five assists in the Premier League despite being in a relegation battle with Villa, which has now drawn interest from Europe’s top clubs, with Manchester United very interested in the Englishman.
The midfielder rejected to leave his club in the January transfer window, preferring to stay and help Villa fight against relegation back to the Championship.
However, According to The Sun, Grealish is now more open to a transfer and his preferred destination is Manchester United.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have emerged as clubs interested in the player with both Spanish football kings impressed by Grealish’s performances.
United have already added more creativity in midfield after signing Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, and Grealish’s directness could be very useful to provide more quality in attacks.
His exit from Aston Villa will surely be an emotional one, after the 24-year-old was crucial to Villa’s return to the Premier League last campaign.
Grealish has made over 170 appearances for the first-team after growing from the academy, and might still reach the 200 mark depending on various circumstances.
MySportDab understands Villa are currently one point above the relegation zone in 17th, with clubs in 15th to 19th separated by only three points.
Injuries to key players have made the task even more challenging for Villa, but having a player with quality to attract interest from the likes of Barcelona could prove to be the difference.
