Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has arrived back at their training base at Carrington on Friday after his rehabilitation in Dubai, MySportDab reports.
The Frenchman has played just 71 minutes of football since his first ankle injury problem in September and it has now proved difficult to get over.
Pogba has arrived just a day after Coach Gunnar Solskjaer said the Frenchman was ‘not anywhere near’ a return to training on Wednesday.
Pogba was pictured driving into United’s Carrington Training Complex after United returned back from Thursday’s 1-1 Europa League draw against Club Brugge in Belgium.
The 26-year-old is now likely to return to action in next month’s Manchester Derby after undergoing ankle surgery in January.
MySportDab understands that Pogba will be assessed by the club’s medical staff this week to gauge his readiness to step up his recovery.
If he is fit enough to make a full return to training by the end of February he could be ready to play against Manchester City on March 8.
Pogba recently shared another video of his rehabilitation in Dubai on his Instagram account after posts last week showed him swimming and running.
Despite his injury problems, Pogba’s future at Old Trafford is still unclear with interests from various European clubs.
Manchester United could even be forced to sell the midfielder come the end of the season with Real Madrid only willing to pay £50million.
Pogba has also been linked with a return to Juventus but they are unlikely to spend big without selling a player first.
