The outspoken agent’s latest comments regarding Paul Pogba’s future ought to be enough to force the club into action.

Manchester United ought to cut ties with Mino Raiola and refuse to sign any players represented by the disputable agent in wake of his latest outburst regarding Paul Pogba, says Gary Neville.

The outspoken Raiola took to Instagram on Monday to criticise Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his comments saying Pogba belongs to the club, demand that the frenchman is his own man.

It is not the first time Raiola has spoken in public regarding Pogba’s scenario at United, as just last week he hinted that the 26-year-old may move to Juventus within the summer.

Neville has accused Raiola of seeking to take advantage of United so as to force through a move for Pogba and earn millions in commission.

As a result, he feels the club ought to refuse to work with him going forward because the current saga is damaging their reputation.

“It can finish with Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United,” Neville told Sky Sports’ Monday Night soccer . “What must happen is that the club must create a stand against that agent. He has messed them around now for years, with Pogba and with alternative players, and why they permit themselves to be played I’ll never know.

“He is a serious thorn within the side for them and United ought to just stand strong and not do business with this guy and say to players ‘if you’re represented by him we won’t deal with you’.

“He is in public making an attempt to embarrass the club all the time. He can say he’s defending the player and sticking up for Paul Pogba however what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aforesaid wasn’t an aggressive move, he was saying that he was a United player, they paid £90 million for him and that they wished him to play well. He wasn’t claiming possession of him.

“But Raiola needs Pogba out the club, he needs his next payday. He has made millions off that player and he can still do so. he’s the golden egg for Mino Raiola.”

Neville’s former Manchester United team-mate Roy Keane agrees that the club ought to sell Pogba within the summer, as his positive attributes are so much outweighed by the negative baggage he comes with.

“There’s been several noises coming out of Pogba’s camp for variety of months,” Keane aforesaid.

“The easy thing i’d do is move him on within the summer. he’s an honest player however there’s an excessive amount of baggage with him and his agent so just move him on.

“Sometimes you’ve got to lose to win. it’d backfire on you, however if it’s not right for the club and these agents are laughing at you, then let these lads go. look at the bigger picture.

“Don’t be chasing after these players who don’t actually need to be at the club. I don’t suppose Pogba needs to be there. so simply shake his hand and off you go.”
