Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Nigerian Striker Odion Ighalo On loan from his Chinese Super League club, MySportDab reports.
Ighalo will arrive from China who are battling a deadly virus in the next few days.
Manchester United see the Nigerian as a short-term fix to their attacking problems due to Marcus Rashford’s back injury.
MySportDab understands that the Red Devils beat Spurs to his signature with Jose Mourinho trying to solve his own attacking problems also at the last minute of the January transfer window.

Manchester United Official Announcement:

United will now pay just a third of Odion Ighalo’s huge wages during his time at Old Trafford.
He will join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team until the end of the season.
Speaking following the transfer was confirmed by Manchester United, Solskjaer said: ‘Odion is a very experienced player. He will give us an option of a different type of centre-forward for the time he’s staying with us.
‘He’s a great player and very professional, he will surely make the most of his time here.’
30-year-old Ighalo has just under two years left on his £300,000-per-week contract with Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
Manchester United have agreed a contract that will see them pay upto £100,000-per-week of that figure while he is playing for the Red Devils.
Ighalo will now return with United to the Premier League, after moving to China three years ago.
The 30-year-old scored 40 goals in 100 appearances for Watford before joining Shanghai Shenhua in a £22m deal.
The Nigerian enjoyed a decent campaign last term, scoring 10 goals in 19 matches for Shanghai despite missing over two months due to injury.
