Tottenham have now announced the loan signing of Gedson Fernandes from Benfica after reaching an agreement, MySportDab reports.

The 21-year-old only recently made his first team debut in Portugal last season and was named the league’s young player of the Month in August.
Spurs also included an option of a permanent signing in the deal, understood to be a fee of £40m.
MySportDab understands Fernandes has been in London since Monday, but his medical was slightly delayed due to issue with his fractured metatarsal injury that has restricted his playing time this season.
Tottenham confirmed that Fernandes will be handed the no. 30 shirt and is likely to join full training tomorrow after the first team get a break today after last night’s 2-1 FA Cup win against Middlesbrough.
He is now Jose Mourinho’s first signing, with the club still looking at striker options with Harry Kane likely ruled out until next season, although the England captain is hopeful of a comeback in April.
“I’m very delighted to be here today, It has always been a dream but now it is a reality,” Fernandes told Tottenham’s official website.
“For me, it’s a big dream to come to this top Club. I will give my best for the Club every day, every training session and in every match and I will try to help the team in any way I can, working hard every day for the club.
“I am short on words about the stadium. I’ve never seen anything this huge, it’s unbelievable!
He added: “I have to focus on my job and will try to do my very best.
“All young players want to work with Jose Mourinho because he’s one of the best coaches, all of us as players want to be with the best, so it’s a great feeling to work with him.
“The Premier League is a world class competition, every Footballer in the world wants to play in the Premier League.”
