Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has lambasted Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger for his role in Heung-min Son’s sending off in Sunday’s game between Both teams, that his team lost 2-0.

Son was sent off once VAR review for kicking out at the German defender, however, Mourinho claimed Rudiger had created the foremost of the incident.

Both players were the recipients of alleged racial abuse within the aftermath of the choice.

The former Chelsea manager aforesaid that Rudiger’s behavior had no place within the English game.

“The focus ought to get on Antonio Rudiger and not on Son,” Mourinho aforesaid in a very news conference.

“In the Premier League, I really like there’s no house conjointly for what Rudiger did. get up and play, man.

“This is the Premier League.

“You attend Portugal, Spain, Italia which happens, it’s a cultural issue, however not within the Premier League.

“And the instant we tend to attempt to penalize the reaction of some player – an insignificant reaction – and you let the opposite one go, then you become a part of it.

“Come on, does one suppose Rudiger plays the subsequent game? Or does one suppose he is injured? Ii feels he plays. and that we discuss Son and do not discuss him [Rudiger].”

Son, who has been sent off on 2 alternative occasions this year, although one was upturned, currently faces a three-match ban.

Spurs confirmed they will appeal and their manager argued his man would be unjustly penalized 5 times if the choice was upheld.

“I hope Son isn’t penalized 5 times,” Mourinho aforesaid.

“One time was the foul that Rudiger did on him. The second is to be sent off.

“The third would be to not play against Brighton. The fourth to not play against Norwich and therefore the fifth to not play against Southampton.

“So I hope to be penalized double is enough, he does not be for the third, the fourth or the fifth.”

Had Spurs won they might have leapfrogged Chelsea into fourth place, however their second Premier League defeat underneath Mourinho set them back, as would the absence of Son for games against Brighton, Norwich City, and Southampton over the festive period.
