BREAKING! Neymar Ruled Out Of Brazil 2026 World Cup Squad

Neymar has probably hit the death knell on his international career as fresh reports confirm he is not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for the 2026 World Cup, MySportDab reports.

The former Barcelona, PSG, and Al-Hilal winger, who is currently plying his trade with his boyhood club, Santos, missed out of Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad for the just-concluded March international break.

His absence from the list marked a huge setback to his World Cup chances, with the list serving as Ancelotti’s mock options for Brazil’s 2026 World Cup campaign.

He expressed his disappoinment following his exclusion, but retained hopes of making the main World Cup list – a prospect Ancelotti also looked up to, but on a condition of the winger improving on his fitness and performance.

Now, it appears such hopes have been finally quashed. According to ESPN, sources close to Carlo Ancelotti have revealed the former Real Madrid manager is unflinching on his position not to include Neymar in Brazil 2026 World Cup squad.

The report adds Ancelotti’s squad is expected to be almost the same as the one he picked for the March international break, with the likes of Endrick, Raphinha, Vinicius Jr, Casemiro, returning to the list.

Despite defeat in their first friendly in the break against France, Ancelotti is reportedly confident of the names that made his list and will look to develop and evolve his tactical plan for the World Cup around them.

Neymar top the list of high-profile Brazil players that didn’t make Ancelotti’s list for the March international break, including Real Madrid sensation Rodrygo and Antony of Real Betis.
