Manchester United boost their chances of making a return to the UEFA Champions League thanks to their win against Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United knew the task that was at hand to deliver at Stamford Bridge for the encounter.

Matteus Cunha broke the deadlock with a wonderful goal which came in the 43rd minute thanks to Bruno Fernandes who made the assist.
It was Manchester United who headed for the break with the advantage 0-1 against Chelsea who tried but couldn’t make much happen on their end.
There was so much work needed to be done not just by Liam Rosenior but also Michael Carrick who needed the maximum three points.
The tension at Stamford Bridge was so much as both teams pushed with everything they had as they wanted things to go their way.
The Blues continued holding more of the ball as Moises Caicedo saw a strike being blocked by Casemiro in the 52nd minute.
Bruno Fernandes hit one from outside the box in the 53rd minute, but he wasn’t able to make any damage against their opponent.
Liam Delap header hit crossbar in the 57th minute in what could have brought the World Champions back into the encounter.
The Devil’s couldn’t do much as they struggled to get close to their opponent box. Cole Palmer tried an effort which was wide off target in the 63rd minute.
Michael Carrick side had a lot being thrown at them with numerous attempts and shots which they were able to defend well.
Liam Rosenior and his players were running out of ideas as the match entered the 80th minute with them still behind.
Mason Mount was shown a yellow card in the additional time after kicking the ball out of frustration.
Kobbie Mainoo also received a yellow card after pulling down Alejandro Garnacho who was able to go past him.
Manchester United hold their horses as they snatched the 0-1 victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Context — this loss for Chelsea isn’t a good one as their chances of making the Champions League next season is very slim.
While for Manchester United they just give themselves the upper hand after cementing another massive three points away from home.
Reaction — Liam Rosenior wasn’t pleased with the situation which he had so much to say after another defeat.
While during his interview, Rosenior expressed his frustrations saying:”It is so difficult. Today they had one shot on target while we were down to 10 men.
“We had wave after wave of attack and hit the woodwork I think four times. I don’t want my team to feel things are against us. We have to keep fighting.”
