The Seattle Seahawks captured their second Super Bowl title on Sunday with a commanding 29–13 victory over the New England Patriots, capping a playoff run defined by discipline and defensive control, MySportDab Reports.
Head coach Mike Macdonald etched his name into NFL history as the third-youngest coach to win the Super Bowl at age 38, while Seattle became the first team to navigate an entire postseason without committing a turnover. The triumph also made the Seahawks the 17th franchise to lift multiple Lombardi Trophies.
Quarterback Sam Darnold led the offence efficiently, completing 19 of 38 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown. His victory marked a milestone for the 2018 draft class, as he became the first among his peers to secure a Super Bowl ring.

Running back Kenneth Walker III delivered a standout performance, rushing for 135 yards on 27 carries and adding 26 receiving yards to anchor Seattle’s attack.
The opening half was dominated by defence, particularly from the Seahawks, who limited New England to just four first downs and 51 total yards, the third-lowest first-half output in Super Bowl history.
Despite Walker’s early ground success, Seattle also struggled to convert drives into touchdowns, settling for three Jason Myers field goals from 41, 39, and 33 yards to take a 9–0 halftime lead. Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez produced two key pass breakups to prevent further damage.
Seattle gradually pulled away after the break. Myers extended the lead with another kick before a strip sack of Patriots quarterback Drake Maye shifted momentum. Early in the fourth quarter, Darnold connected with tight end AJ Barner for a 16-yard score to make it 19–0.
Maye briefly sparked hope with a 35-yard touchdown pass to Mack Hollins, but turnovers proved costly. An interception and another strip sack set up Myers’ fifth field goal and a defensive touchdown recovery return by Uchenna Nwosu, stretching the margin beyond reach.
Maye finished with 295 passing yards and two touchdowns but committed three turnovers. A late scoring connection with Rhamondre Stevenson only narrowed the deficit as Seattle sealed a memorable championship victory.
